H.E. Prof. Alfa Oumar Dissa

Mr. Alfa Oumar DISSA holds a Doctorate Degree Unique (PhD) in Applied Physics from the University of Ouagadougou / Université Lyon 1 France and a Master of Advanced Studies (DEA) in applied physics from the University of Ouagadougou. A lecturer in applied physics, he spent most of his career at the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. He has been the educational leader of the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development (IGEDD) of the University of Ouagadougou, where he provides courses at the bachelor GPAT and Masters 1 and 2 Energy and Renewable Energy levels on transfers of thermal energy and solar thermal energy, electricity, thermodynamics and electrical fire hazards.
Mr. Alfa Oumar Dissa is involved in a variety of research fields, including solar, thermal energy, process engineering and industrial risks. He has conducted consultations in the field of advice design, sizing and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, both on the industrial and semi-industrial scale.
