Nicolas Dasnois is the Energy and Africa advisor in France’s climate change negotiation task-force since 2014. As such, he is the French focal point for the Africa Renewable Energy Initiative, launched at COP21. Mr. Dasnois has worked in the private sector on European energy markets (Sélectra), at the French Embassy in Kenya, as deputy permanent representative to UNEP and UN-Habitat, and in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ strategic affairs department. He holds a master’s degree in international affairs (international security) from SciencesPo (Paris, France).
